Documents we serve
Elite Document Services serves court and legal documents issued in Western Australia and other Australian jurisdictions. Instructions commonly include claims, summonses, subpoenas, applications, notices, petitions, orders, statements and correspondence requiring formal delivery.
Before attendance, we review the documents and instructions supplied so the agent understands who must be served, whether personal service is required and what evidence needs to be recorded. Your solicitor remains responsible for legal advice and confirming the applicable court rules.
Personal and non-personal service
Personal service requires the documents to be handed to, or brought to the attention of, the named person in accordance with the applicable requirements. Non-personal service may permit delivery to another eligible person or location. If you are unsure which service is required, send the complete filed documents and any court directions so we can identify what operational information is still needed.
What happens after you instruct us?
- Scope confirmed. We check the address, deadline, document type, fee and special requirements before accepting the job.
- Attendances begin. The agent attends at appropriate times using the information supplied and records relevant observations.
- You receive updates. We report after each attendance rather than leaving you uncertain about progress.
- The file is completed. Following successful service, we prepare the applicable affidavit. If service is unsuccessful, we provide the attendance history and can prepare evidence of attempted service.
Information that improves the chance of service
Provide the recipient’s full name, current and previous addresses, phone number, workplace, vehicle details, physical description, recent photograph, likely attendance times and any known safety concerns. Include every document requiring service, the court deadline, hearing date, your contact details and billing information. Accurate information can prevent wasted attempts and urgent remedial work.
